Biography
Alexandra is a Human Factors and Safety Engineer with experience in designing systems to improve safety in both Medical and Rail related industries. Besides a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, she has undertaken formal qualifications in Cognitive Engineering, Product Management and Safety System Interface design, holds a Masters in Human Factors Engineering is a qualified trainer with Cert IV in Training and Assessment and has undertaken training in Product Management.
She has experience in implementing safety cases for numerous rail projects as well as having a strong academic background which involves publishing in numerous engineering and medical journals and conferences about her work involving medical equipment design.
Alexandra has particular proficiency in developing safety frameworks for established systems to comply with related local or industry regulatory standards and guidelines.
Alexandra pays great attention to detail and employs a holistic approach to problem solving. She is also competent communicator in writing and presentation, having been involved in Toastmasters from a young age and continuing to develop her skills in this area as a lecturer and tutor at tertiary level.
Her formal education includes qualifications in Information Technology, Safety Engineering, Internal Auditing and Interface Design.
