Eva Perrone

Activation Manager

Eva is an Activation Manager at Biz Dojo. She is a big fan of fast paced growth environments and helping small companies scale. With a background in Marketing and Communications, she now has the opportunity to expand on this with a wide range of experience including overseas growth, operations and partnerships. She is currently part of the BizDojo team who are changing the way work is done. By connecting places, activities and people, they aim to power growth for cities, companies, and individuals. Most of the time, you'll find them curating communities within the startup industry and operating coworking spaces across the country.

Joelle Peters

Frontend Architect

Joelle is currently working as a Frontend Architect at Westfield Labs. She has worked extensively in Design and Frontend Development (in isolated and hybrid roles) and believes in the importance of close, overlapping relationships between designers and developers. Her interest is in architecting and developing maintainable, modular UIs built around intelligent design systems. She guides effective cross-functional collaboration between Product, Design and Engineering teams to develop a congruous Front-end architecture and design system. Joelle works with Design teams to provide direction on process, prototyping, fidelity, and tooling alongside practical product, engineering and business constraints. She also works with front-end engineers to help rationalize the design process and build better UIs through a more maintainable and scalable collection of visual components and design patterns.

Katie Peterson

Katie works as a Clinical Trial Assistant at George Clinical. She is involved with the management of international trials in Australia, New Zealand, China, India, Korea, Taiwan and Malaysia. Katie also trains colleagues on project systems and software. She provides assistance in tracking and managing clinical data flow and other trial queries and monitoring of timelines and resources. Also, she assists Project Managers & Clinical Research Associates to prepare, handle, distribute, file, and archive clinical documentation. She has also managed clinical trials in line with clinical, company regulatory requirements, ICH GCP.

Charlotte Petris

Founder & CEO

Charlotte founded Timelio, Australia’s leading peer-to-peer invoice finance platform, after experiencing first-hand how difficult it was for businesses to raise finance. A Chartered Accountant and corporate financier with 20 years of experience advising and helping businesses access capital, she understands the constraints many people face trying to grow a business without access to finance. Having lived and worked in NZ, UK, Singapore and Australia, working in some of the world’s largest banks, she sees Timelio as an opportunity to “do it different” in the world of finance. Charlotte is Vice President of FinTech Australia. She is a 2015 alumna of the US founded Springboard Enterprises Program for female entrepreneurs building high growth technology companies.

Zoe Piper

Director

Zoe Piper has over 17 years experience across management consulting, technology, manufacturing and investment. She has a strong interest in cross-sector interaction and is actively engaged in a range of roles and appointments. Highly experienced in assisting organisations (both public and private) to analyse and enhance performance, Zoe regularly facilitates professional connections and collaborations. She currently manages the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) Productivity Unit, designing and delivering initiatives to boost firm level productivity (focusing on management and leadership, human capital, innovation & technology, sustainability and trade). In this role Zoe has engaged stakeholders from business, academia and government to jointly address Australia’s productivity challenge. An active investor, Zoe draws on her previous private equity experience to identify investment and joint venture opportunities where she can add value. In 2009 she co-founded Ecolour, an Australian based manufacturer of premium quality, non-toxic paint that is now distributed across the country. In 2015 Zoe was named as a finalist in the Emerging Entrepreneur category of NAB Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards. Zoe is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (formerly chairing the AIM ACT Regional Advisory Committee) and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has studied in the USA, Europe and China, and her qualifications include an MBA, Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Communication. Zoe is currently undertaking a PhD (Public Policy) at the Australian National University.

Rhiannon Poley

Office Manager

Office Manager for Mighty Games Group, creators of Shooty Skies. On study hiatus from a BA in Internet Communications. Interested in writing, marketing and social media. Also coming up with mad game ideas I have no intention of making.

Melanie Pollock

Business Partner

Melanie is a Business Partner at Rightway. She is an accountant who works with businesses to help them go from good to great. She does this by ensuring business owners have the information they need, when they need it to make great decisions. Her path to being a specialist has been shaped along the way by, an accounting degree at University of New England, a year at Washington State University, being an accountant at Boyce Chartered Accountants, a business banker at NAB, a director at FlourishFM and now a business partner with Rightway. Besides working with great businesses, her other passion is cooking up a storm for family and friends

Senior Digital Marketing Executive

Kira is currently working as a Senior Digital Marketing Executive at APT. She is a digital marketing professional specialising in social media marketing, content management and digital advertising. An innovative and driven individual with a strong passion for digital marketing and extensive experience working with B2C, B2B AND FMCG companies. She has an exceptional mix of creative and project management skills which makes her perfect for the digital world.

Founder

As the founder of She Will Shine, I am passionate about supporting women in business and have created a village for female business owners across Australia. It’s a village born from a desire to genuinely connect with other like-minded women who completely understand the highs and lows of being a business owner. The wins and successes, the isolation and frustration - in addition to the responsibilities of everyday life. As well as being a supportive community, She Will Shine offers training and education, co-working, online resources and in-person events, and provides a space for members to create personal connections, motivate and support each other to go further and shine brighter.

Experience Design Lead at Seamless, Remya Ramesh loves creating simple, task-focused, inclusive digital experiences. Ten years in digital, she comes with diverse experience ranging UX/CX design, business analysis & strategy, product innovation and project management. A meetup community member for 6 years Remya co-organises Ladies That UX and Girl Geek Dinners Melbourne. She also loves to crochet and dance.

Ange Recchia

Ange has networked online and created websites since 2006. In that time, she has been involved in online communities across various social media platforms and forums ranging from Wordpress related to Entrepreneurs to Health and Sports forums. Her goals and priorities are to inspire others, build networks of likeminded people and work with individuals and companies who require Web Content and Social Media Management. Her work as a Web Developer, Social Media and SEO Consultant has been paramount to her success.

Anna Reeves

CEO

Anna has worked for Australia’s leading media production houses including CordellJigsawZapruder, XYZ Films/Foxtel, and Renegade as an in-house counsel and business affairs/brand manager. As the senior advisor at Film Victoria, premiere funding agency, she advised on large-scale film, television, games and transmedia productions. She has advised for and founded several not for profit & social enterprise initiatives, such as Strategic Partners, an international co-production program. In 2011, she was the US Campaign Director for a high profile worldwide anti-poverty campaign called The Global Poverty Project. She has written, directed and produced company culture videos as part of transformative workshops with the STW Group and some of Australia's largest organisations such as the Accor Asia Pacific Hotel group, BT, Westpac Group, KPMG, Vodafone, AusPost and Qantas. She created, wrote and produced That Start Up Show, an award winning global web-series focused on start up culture. Her current focus is the"Stand in My Shoes Project"an Empathy VR lab focused on empathy education through VR storytelling.

Karen is a passionate data driven HR and recruitment specialist with over 10 years experience of working across a wide variety of recruitment models such as RPO, HRO, Agency & Internal recruitment in the UK and APAC. She has successfully consulted to and influenced a diverse range of stakeholders and she is experienced within E-Commerce, IT&T, engineering and the financial sectors. She has developed creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates with specialist skill sets.

Anais is a Marketing Co-Ordinator at Spunge Games. Her role involves marketing, community and social media management, press releases, production, promotion, content creation, trailers and publishing. In 2014, she graduated with distinction from QUT with a degree in Games and Interactive Entertainment Majoring in Animation. She is skilled in 3D modelling and animating and fluent in various programs such as Autodesk Maya, Unity3D, Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. Her degree allowed her to fully understand and appreciate the games development process and has equipped with her the skills to contribute to the industry. Anais loves to engage with others about their shared passion in gaming and discuss the latest games and hardware.
