Claire Deane
CEO
Claire is a digital marketer, Google analytics nerd and social media addict. She has worked with big and small brands across a range of industries, from fashion to food with digital publishing platforms to yoga studios, education institutions to wedding accessory designers. She’s developed social media strategies for The Locale Group’s stable of brands (Talulah, Stevie May and Isla), created digital marketing strategies for Dissh, helped a handmade brand get picked up by international retailer BHLDN on the strength of their social media content, and grown digital publisher The Urban List to 200K visitors, and launched across three major cities. She’s written a book on building a business as an introvert that’s been featured in Collective Mag and Design*Sponge. She also teaches SMEs how to build their businesses via her business, Homeroom.
Michelle Dennis
eLearning Manager
One of the first generation of digital natives, Michelle Dennis is passionate about how technology can be used to innovate and create. After studying Computer Science at The University of Melbourne, she went into education to encourage more girls to step up and become Girl Geeks. Currently the eLearning Manager at Mentone Girls' Grammar School, Michelle spends her days encouraging students to play with 3D prints, robots, VR and video games. (It is the best job in the world.)
Teresa Deshon
Deputy Principal
Teresa is the Deputy Principal at Kilvington Grammar School where she teaches IT and Mathematics. In her role, one of the many areas she manages is whole school curriculum, assessment and reporting, strategic ICT and innovative IT programs including 3D Printing, Wearable IT, Coding for Girls and Nao Robotics. Teresa is experienced in the development and implementation of 1:1 programs, BYOD and Continuous Online Reporting, Data Visualisation and LEAN business practis . She specialise in delivering Professional Development programs and courses for schools and her strong interest in Technology, Curriculum and Pastoral Care has seen her work with Education Nation, DigiCon, Future Schools, Technovation, GO4IT Women in IT, Harvard University’s Project Zero, and RULER program by Yale University. Teresa has a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in IT/Education and a Graduate Diploma in Computer Education. Teresa has been recognised by ACEL receiving an award in the area of Women in Leadership also being a member MACEL. She was induced Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Educational Services in 2013. A regular writer and contributor to academic journals and presenter at conferences, Teresa takes pride in contributing to the educational landscape and role modeling women in IT.
Lutfiyya Dhalla

Lutfiyya is a Product Development at The Entourage. Her unique background in Communications and Psychology, helps her to understand the modern day consumer. This enables her to create meaningful relationships and impactful communications that cut through the clutter. With a high degree of focus placed on content marketing Lutfiiyya creates engaging content that adds value and educates the consumer. Sarah is a Small Business Owner at Madame Valentine. She loves working in retail and she loves to exceed expectations. She enjoys the retail industry. She loves the unpredictability that retail often throws at you. She is in love with the consumers - she loves to analyze strangers' outfits in the street and pick what type of shopper they are. She is into fashion. Sarah loves Comme Des Garcons and Marc Jacobs and the way the music at a fashion show seems to beat right through you and take you away to another imaginary world. She loves to set her alarm for 3am to watch the Milan Runway via live streaming.
Hollie Doar
Junior UX Architect
Hollie is a Junior UX Architect at BWM Dentsu. With qualifications in anthropology, psychology, and General Assembly's UX Design course, she has the capability to utilise qualitative research methods, including ethnography, to gain insight into human behaviour and translate them into meaningful user experiences. She gained experience in service design during my time as a Quality Officer at Wesley Mission Victoria, redeveloping the client feedback system in order to make the process consumer centric. She is highly motivated, curious and passionate.

Alex is an Accountant at Credit Corp. She is a qualified 'CA' Chartered Accountant working at Credit Corp Group as a Transaction Accountant. In her previous role as Senior Accountant in Business Advisory at William Buck Chartered Accountants, her main areas of experience included: Tax and GST compliance, Financial Accounts, Management reporting. She completed a Bachelor of Business at University of Technology Sydney, where she majored in Accounting and Finance.
Jess Dodson
System Administrator
I'm a system administrator, focused on Microsoft infrastructure and Windows Server, with over 10 years experience in IT within the education and government sectors in Brisbane. I'm big on pushing for technical organisational changes when needed and will happily lead the charge in getting these changes across the line. I'm a huge fan of sharing information with as many people as possible, being active in a number of online communities so I can help others and pass on any pearls of wisdom I've learnt doing what I do. I have a personal website (http://girl-germs.com) that I post technical content to in order to share my experiences and provide detailed run-throughs on projects that I've been involved in. I'm a stereotypical geek, so my spare time seems me playing video games like World of Warcraft and Diablo 3, or building with Lego. I'm also a crafter, currently dabbling in chainmaille jewellery.

EY Entrepreneur of the Year Sebastien Eckersley-Maslin left a 10 year career as a weapons engineer in the Navy to pursue his passion in working with start-ups. Seb is also a founding ambassador of the Awesome Foundation, advisor at Club Kidpreneur and was state lego building champion at 8.
Yulia Edirisinghe
Marketing Services Account Manager
Yulia works as a Marketing Services Account Manager at align.me. She is an exceptional B2B marketing professional – understanding not only the concepts behind sales and marketing strategy, but also what it takes to execute these ideas to produce real business growth. Yulia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Accounting from Monash University, giving her the advantage of a deep understanding of marketing coupled with strong analytical skills. Yulia is also a passionate writer with the skills to match. One of her clients recently said, “I love how you can just take five minutes of my time, and come back with a really compelling piece of content that says exactly what I wanted to say… in a way that sells!” In addition, Yulia has been cast as MathMarketing’s resident geek – a title she’s earned because of her interest in Google Analytics, landing page optimisation, and SEO.

Dominik Elias is Tiger Pistol’s Product Marketing Manager, responsible for ensuring that the Tiger Pistol product vision comes to life in the market place. Her passion for innovative technology and marketing has led to a career primarily in the SaaS space, most recently working with Mimecast. Dominik’s specialty for applied data analysis has seen her successfully establish marketing strategies which have resulted in increased brand awareness and growth in leads. When she’s not working, she loves to entertain family and friends…any excuse really for great food, good drink and plenty of conversation.
Amanda Elliott

Amanda works as a Database Administrator at NSW Department of Finance, Services and Innovation. One would think that people who work with databases are not that creative and don’t have a ‘wild’ side should meet Amanda. Besides being a talented database administrator she is more than talented nail artist. She describes herself as her own domestic goddess with extra kinkiness, cake decorator, nail artist, shopper, wrapped in leopard print fur and wearing heels.

Multitalented and extremely good at multitasking. She is not only good at sourcing and placing great talent in various Digital Marketing roles but also a talent herself. You have to have talents in order to be able to see the talent in others and Rebecca has obtained a lot of them during her professional career. She is the top-notch at marketing, social media, and optimization talent placement. Working with people is something she loves and lives for.

She is a New Yorker living in Melbourne.

Casey Flint
Casey is currently a Marketing Intern at Boost Mobile. She helps run and manage the University of Queensland Sailing Club, juggling between her position as Head of Sailing and a Dual Bachelors Degree in Science (Biochemistry)/Business Management (Business Economics). Head of Sailing has her responsible for coordinating her club’s main form of revenue and exposure – their social and competitive sailing programs, as well as managing skippers, team organisation, events and interacting with their many eager sailors. Job aside, she is passionate about innovative marketing, creative writing, game-changing entrepreneurship and leadership. She loves making things better, bigger and the best kind of different they can be.

Emma Franz is an award-winning nonfiction filmmaker and jazz singer-songwriter with twenty-five years experience in stage performance, television and cinema. She is a cinema director and producer, a cinematographer, scriptwriter and editor. A number of music and film projects have taken her across 6 continents and 33 countries, providing the opportunity to associate and work with a diverse range of people from various cultures, social structures and political histories. Best known for her music film, Intangible Asset Number 82 http://IntangibleAsset82.com, Emma is currently completing a feature film project on guitarist Bill Frisell.
